A Sunset Dance for Healing | Tracie Louttit in Sault Ste. Marie

As the sun began to sink behind the horizon in Sault Ste. Marie, ON, the sky turned golden, casting a gentle, glowing light over the land. It was in this sacred stillness that Tracie Louttit, a gifted producer, artist, and soul mover, offered a dance for her sister, Jennifer—a dance woven with love, prayer, and deep intention.

Jennifer was about to embark on a profound healing journey: a breast explant surgery in Michigan, a courageous step toward reclaiming her health and her body. And as she prepared to leave, Tracie chose to honour her in the most powerful way she knew—through movement.

Barefoot on the earth, with the river breathing beside her, Tracie danced at sunset. It wasn’t a performance. It was a prayer. A letting go. A calling in of strength, grace, and healing light. Every step and gesture spoke what words couldn’t: You are not alone. You are seen. You are deeply loved.

In a world that often rushes past our transitions, this was a moment to pause and witness the sacred in motion. The kind of moment that reminds us of the invisible threads that hold us together as women, as sisters, as human beings.

To Jennifer—may your path be gentle, your healing complete, and your spirit always held. And to Tracie—thank you for reminding us that movement can be medicine, and love is a language we can dance.

If you're looking to have your own healing moment, ceremony, or sacred transition documented with reverence and artistry, I’d be honoured to hold space for you. Whether it’s a farewell, a celebration, or a journey into the unknown—these are the moments that deserve to be witnessed.
